Unfortunately I didn't read as much as a kid as I do now but some of the books that really caught my attention during my childhood are:
1. Charlotte's Web
2. Any books from the Goosebumps series
3. The Bernstein Bears as a smaller kid
4. Anything Dr. Seuss I still love reading them today, and I'm glad for the opportunity to read them to my kids.
5. Sideways Stories from Wayside School
